Daily nursing tasks

I am a third year nursing student currently doing clinical pracice 4. As a student we are required to draw a plan for each shift. I tried to draw one but my buddy nurse said it wasn't good enoguh.

I included shower, care plan, ct scans, medication, IVAB, PCA check, catheter bag empty,dressing,IDC hourly measure, ballovac drains, bed making. What else can I add? What tasks should the morning and afternoon nurses do?

Seriously, I can't help you much here. If I had to write out everything I did in a shift I'd cry.

i would just look in the computer chart at the Interventions. There will be a long list of all the things the nurse must do in the day.

I'm not sure if many of us will be able to help you without knowing what "not good enough" means. What did she say when you asked her to clarify?
