Cypress College Fall 2021

Hello! I wanted to make a new thread for Cypress Fall 2021 applicants! Have you gotten your letters yet?

I received a denial email, then a few minutes later got an email that said to disregard the previous email and read the acceptance letter for instructions. My application just says Complete, which in the past has meant I didn't get it. I'm so confused. Anyone else hear anything?

Hi and congrats everyone! I am considering applying to Cypress. Do the science pre-requisites have to be completed prior to applying or do they accept applications with a course still in progress?

Do you guys know if they tell you what position you are in for the waitlist?

Yes you have to email them and ask but it is a vague answer not the exact position number.

I got called to move from alternate to accepted! Hopefully anyone else as alternate gets in ??

Wow congratulations! I hope that means I moved up almost 10 spots since you were last told around #10.

I don’t think anyone has.  
Now that castle ranch has been released maybe 1 should be started. I can make one. What should I name it?

Hello, 

I wanted to ask if anyone that was accepted into their program had a science class in progress?  I might apply in September with my Microbiology class in in progress. I have A's in all science prerequisite classes and meet all the other requirements. I can also wait until 2022. However, I will be applying to LBCC in March, which is another top school choice. I'm considering taking the leap and applying to cypress before my Microbiology is completed. I confirmed on their website only that I can apply with one class in progress as long as it is completed before acceptance.  IF you applied is September, what month did you get accepted?

If you apply in September you can expect a letter in late November early December.

I'm a little confused. Does Cypress accept students directly into the program? Or only from their waitlist?

Applied for 2022 Spring.
