CVCC 2020 applicants

I’ve got everything ready, just need them to release the new application. This is my last try, I’ll be 42 with 3 kids colleges to pay for in a few years so I can’t keep wasting time. I feel good about this year though. All prerequisites done for 10 points, 5 points for over 12 cvcc credits and 27 ACT points. If 42 points isn’t good enough then I’m going to try maybe radiology or surgical tech at CT or give up altogether.

Nothing. Last year she sent the emails around 7:30pm. I think it was all the acceptances then the denials.

Anybody heard anything? I really thought it was going to be today beings it wasnt Friday. Anybody else mind sharing their points? I had 38 but with a low GPA of 2.6 so that makes me nervous.

I had 41. It’s confusing how they rank us though. The website says points only but then why does it take so long? Last year they did consider GPA to some degree. I know my overall GPA with transfer credits is lower but for just CVCC it’s 3.79. I just want to know when they’ll let us know!

The Fall schedule is out and there’s 55 seats in NUR 112. I’m so nervous!

OMG only 55! Can you tell me where to find the schedule? Do you know how many they normally have?

I don’t know how many they accepted last year. They can always changes the number of seats too. I think registration opens mid July.

scroll down to NUR 112, there are 3 class options available. Anybody know how many people applied? I'm having trouble focusing on anything because I need to know if I got in or not.... I'm losing my mind.

Thanks yall. Yeah I wish she would email me back atleast so I know. Friday is the end of the 6 weeks but I really hope its not then. I'm going to go crazy. You would think beings they know how many seats are available the admissions committee done met and she just has to press send.

Did she confirm they met? I don’t understand why they even have to meet. Put the applications in order by number of points and take the top 55!

No she didn't. I applied at Southern Union back in Novemeber I think and they had 184 applicants. I know it's not the same school but it kind of gives you an idea how many apply. I missed the cut off there by 2 points.
