a girl friend of mine was recently diagnosed after years of being treated with psoriasis ,as it seemed to be and would respond to only temporarily , any ways we have investigated and the prognosis seems very unclear to me as she was staged 3 and 4 on different parts of her body , and even 1 and 2 on others ... she is currently in east greenbush for treatment they said in about two weeks she should see a difference and there hasnt been. I am quite concerned for her health , the other option for her is to go to yale university , do they treat or use you for studies is my question ,I dont want her to be a guinea pig.!

I had one pt with ctcl...horrible disease. he was treated at yale with reasonably decent results. tell your friend to enroll in clinical trials, probably her best bet.
thank you I will! I just wasnt sure what they were capable of as its such a misdiagnosed disease.

Please understand that we can not give medical advice. We do wish your friend well, and that she receives the treatment she needs. :)

Thank you to all who posted.
Unfortunately, as jnette said, medical advice is beyond the scope of our practice as nurses, and while we wish the OP's friend a swift and easy recovery, we cannot provide the assistance she is seeking.
