I am just alittle confused w/ cushing's disease. I am doing a case study about it and want to make sure that I got it right. W/ cushing's from an adenoma of the pituitary, it causes the pituitary gland to produce to much ACTH, which then stimulates the adrenal glands to secrete an excess of ALL its steriods (mineralcorticoids, glucocorticoids, and sex hormones), but the one that causes the most trouble is the glucocorticoid cortisol? Is that correct???:confused::confused:
