Hi! Haven't seen anyone post yet about the Curry College 2022 ACCEL program and wanted to start a thread. I was accepted at the beginning of September (no clue if that means I was waitlisted or if they were just late this year) but I was curious if anyone on here had also gotten in! I can't find a facebook group for it yet but wanted to connect with people in my class.

It's nice that that student has had such a positive experience so far. It's interesting to me that a lot of people are choosing between Curry and UMass Boston - it's the same for me, as well. I'm guessing because they are the two most affordable ABSN programs in the Boston area? I'm still conflicted because Curry seems like such a great program, but obviously UMass Boston is cheaper and it would be less driving for me. I feel like I've read some conflicting comments about UMass, though, so I think it'll still be a difficult decision. The more feedback from others, the more helpful it is to make such a tough decision! Thank you again for doing that!
Actually it was faith! She helped us all out

I don't anticipate getting much aid because I've heard when it's a second bachelor's degree you get less, if any. But so far I haven't received any specific info.
there are no merit-based scholarships apparently, which is such a bummer.
also! I just found out curry changed their grading policy from needing to get an 80% or higher on exams to just needing an 80% overall for each class including assignments except for certain classes

Interesting about the deadline change! I believe the cohort is 30ish people, I wonder how many slots are still open.
I know someone that works in continuing ED at curry and she said that the website update was incorrect!
Hi!
Haha I just realized I never said hello to everyone :)! First off I wanted to congratulate all of you into getting into this rigorous program. Everyone should be very proud!! I was also accepted into the Milton 2022 cohort and am ecstatic to start.
Would anyone be interested in starting a facebook group or something of that sort? I think it would be great to have somewhere where we (all students joining the 2022 cohort) converse!
Let me know!

Congrats on your acceptance Julia! I’d be interested in having a facebook group as well.
What does everyone else feel about this? I think it would be an easier way of communication just because I do not think that everyone is aware that this website is an outlet they can use!
Also, in regards to the other students accepted, has anyone heard of when we will learn who we are going to conquer this program with? Or do you think we will have to wait for the online zoom on December 8th?
