Curry College ACCEL 2018

Published

Hoping to hear from other students that are applying or have applied to Curry's ACCEL Accelerated BSN program - the application deadline is coming up soon!

You're welcome!! Curry also accepts Portage.com courses which was a godsend for me. I don't recommend taking A&P online because you want to put your time in to really learn the material, but it's great for the other classes. The first semester is pretty tough but if you put the time in, you'll do fine.

I took A&P 1 and got a B- and i'm currently taking A&P2 which i believe i will get an A. I have looked into portage learning to take human growth and dev, chem and micro. I kno application deadline is june 1 did you hear back in early or mid july when you applied. And did all of your outstanding prereqs need to be done by dec

I heard back by mid-July. I took my last class on portage in the fall. Because it's self-paced, I was able to finish in October.

Thats great to hear i thought i was gonna have to finish all 3 classes by aug. well i will let you know if i get accepted thank younfor taking the time out to answer al my questions

Do you mind telling me. Is the program full time and only day time or is there an option for part time and evening classes?

It is full time. I don't think there is a way to have a part time Accelerated BSN program. Curry's is days.

Hi All! I am finishing up my Curry application for Spring 2019 and have noticed on other threads that some people were rejected for their personal statements being too long. I wanted to see for those that did get accepted if your one page personal statement was single or double spaced.

I spoke with someone in the advising office who said it didn't matter either way, but of course I just want to make sure I am following directions. Would love input from those that were accepted! Thank you!
