currently what hospitals are used for wcccd clinicals? how many of you have had clinicals at dmc and henry ford hospital? i want to attend a school that uses either dmc or hfh.... :chuckle

I am in my 3rd semester and I have had clincals As Henry Ford Wyandotte, Sinai-Grace (DMC) St, John Main, and I currently have clincals at Henry Ford Main.

I am in my third semester and have been at HF Wyandotte, Sinai-Grace, St.John's Main, Harper Hospital and will be at Walter Rheuther in 7.5weeks for Psych

I graduated a couple years ago, but can't imagine them changing very much. I had clinicals at HF wyandotte, Oakwood Heritage, DMC CHM, HF Bi-County, HF main and DMC Harper. It is nice to go to a variety of hospitals because it gives you a sneak preview into where you may or may not want to work. Plus sometimes your choices are limited due to what class you are taking. Also, if they still do the lottery for your classes, sometimes your choice of where you want to go may be limited. Good luck!

They still have the lottery in place. I wanted to attend a program that offered clinicals at what I consider to be the best teaching/learning hospitals.

I am in my 3rd semester and I was at Beaumont grosse pointe for Med Surg I, Harper hospital for Med Surg II, Hutzel hospital for OB, Henry Ford Main for Med Surg III, and im at Kingswood now for Psych. :wink2:

Where is Kingswood? What type of hospital is it, and what are psych clinicals like?
