current University at Buffalo students

Hello, I am wondering if any current University at Buffalo CRNA students have any wisdom, advice, helpful hints, and/or must-haves for the program. I will be starting Fall 2010, and would be grateful for any info.:thankya:

i'm just wondering which hospitals or institutions UB is affiliated with for their clinicals?

I was notified by letter in the mail and I actually got an e-mail too. Why don't you call Dr.xxxx and tell him you are following up on your interview and ask him if there is any additional information he may need. A call from you may show him how serious you are about the program. Thank him again for allowing you to interview for the program. That is exactly what I would do. Don't be nervous. Good luck!

I did call him and he said it would be another two weeks. I asked him when the letters would be going out, that I have registered for classes to get some prereq's done. I already have a masters as an NP and told him I wasn't sure if I needed one of the classes I'm in cause I may be able to transfer in a similar one. He said I was in a predicament. But basicaly couldn't tell me anything. And if I don't get in then I'm stuck paying or just takin classes I've done in the past ;( I sent a follow up thank you for the interview and I felt like my interview went really well. But then I saw someone interviewed Dec 8th (same day as me) and found out two weeks later they got in!!! Then I saw someone wrote they already accepted 16 people! Really I'm just torchering myself going on here LOL its like a bad accident you can't help but look!!!

I am wondering how people are finding out that they have already accepted 16 people. I am not sure so I cannot confirm or deny that.

As for the long wait for your letter, it was over a month I waited so don't worry. Good luck.

Just wanted to know for the CRNA program, do we have any canadian students? Just wanted to know how they process I-20f orm (if u r canadian u know what is I-20). let me know plz.

And my other future class fellows, did u guys receive anything else in the mail for orientation or how to set up an account. I did not receive anything so just wanted to make sure.

Hello future classmate, I did not recieve anything else either. I think they may wait until they have the class full. They held interviews last week and one person said that it would be abou 3 weeks until they hear anything. Let me know if you get anything.

hey guys i have an interview in 2 weeks for the crna program. Could anyone tell me what kind of interview questions are asked? I am not from Buffalo, could you guys also tell me what is the hotel closest the the university, airport, traveling from UB to the airport?
