  1. Congrats. I'm currently in my second semester at UB. FYI don't expect to know what you are registering for early, you will eventually get a letter. That being said its tough getting books early. There is a graduate student orientation you can go to and all the info for ur ub card. So don't worry about any of that stuff. First semester is tough, make sure your up to speed with math, lots of dosage calcs and gas laws first semester. Just be ready to do a lot of reading. Basic of anesthesia by miller, clinical anesthesia by barash are good books that you will use in class and ones you could get to start reading through. Secrets of anesthesia by Duke is a good review as well. Good luck
  2. hey julie hope its going well! Thanks for the info. ps its bill from trauma.
  3. Haven't heard anything yet and the book store doesn't have the list yet for any of the courses. You can check this web site for the books but nothing is up yet, dunno why......... http://www.bkstr.com/CategoryDisplay/10001-9604-11053-1?demoKey=d
  4. Hey hope everyone is well and getting ready for the fall....I just spoke to one of my friends in the program now and asked her about registration. She didn't register until july or august so we have some time, you can get an idea of your schedule just by checking the course schedule(http://myub.buffalo.edu/course/public/scripts/crs_sched.cgi?switch=showcourses&semester=fall&division=2&dept=NUR) for fall and the program outline: Fall Session I NUR 503 Pharmacotherapeupics for Advanced Practice Nursing NUR 505 Pathophysiology for Advanced Practice Nursing NUR 512Research Methods for Practice Professions NUR 514APN Role - Evolution of the Role NUR 515 APN Role - Innovations in Advanced Practice Nursing NUR 543Principles of Anesthesia I Dunno if anyone has some classes out of the way or not. Path and Pharm are not bad at all, research is time consuming, 514 and 515 are easy need to do a presentation for 515, and no idea about 543. Things could have changed, and might still, but this should be our basic schedule for this fall. Looking forward to the fall
  5. no nothing yet, All are spots are reserved so ------- will contact us at some point to go over the schedule
