I would like to know your experience as a SRNA at Quinnipiac program. How are the instructors in the clinicals? Are they respectful? How is the load of didactic portion, is it manageable? and how many students are accepted? The average nursing experience? how was the interview process, what do they ask?
I know it is a lot of questions. But thank you to all those who share their experiences.
Just read this... BostonRN1 if you have time... could you email me at [email protected]... Thanks
BostonRN1; would you be willing to share some advice with me about the Quinnipiac interview that would be helpful, I have mine in a few days. I'd appreciate it if you have the time. thank you My email address is [email protected]
@jm8459
I interviewed at the end of September and received an acceptance email the second week of November and an acceptance package in the mail this past week. I have to send in my deposit by the end of November, but said they wanted to know if I was planning on attending right away because they have an extensive waiting list. It seems they are sending out acceptance letters in waves. I'm sure some people accepted will decline (going to another school, etc.). My guess is that they will send out more letters at the beginning of December. Good Luck!!

Awesome, thanks so much for the information. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything yet; I interviewed mid October. I emailed them last week to ask on the status of my application but I haven't heard back which makes me sad lol. Congratulations to you, though, that is extremely exciting! Are you attending Quinnipiac?
If you don't mind me asking, what is your background? This is my first year applying to schools and I am trying to get a feel for experience/education on others that have done well/accepted into programs.
Hi jm8459-
Thanks! I have one more interview left at another school, but I do plan on attending Quinnipiac. I really liked the outline of the program and the clinical focus.
As for my background, I have 5 years ICU experience. I currently work in an ICU at a level II trauma center that takes hearts, neuro, neuro/trauma, and med/surg ICU patients.
BSN, CCRN
PALS, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, TCAR
3.6 GPA
Member of multiple unit committees
And great references
Did you apply anywhere else? Let me know if you hear anything!
Hi Boston RN1, could you email me at [email protected]? I have a few questions about your clinical experience. Thank you! I really appreciate your help.
