Before starting the program I am currently in I read on websites just like this to get tips for passing. I took a "what type of learner" quiz and my results were auditory. For that reason I always made sure to listen very carefully in class and read my notes aloud when studying for tests. For things I feel I absolutely cannot remember or am unfamiliar with I make flash cards. This has helped me tremendously to pass and even make good grades. Everyone is different, just find what works best for u

Hello, I believe that you are on the right track for many reasons. I have known a lot of students before that they are never sure on how they learn best and they do not know or understand what strategies work for them. Since you know the learning style that fits your needs, you are on the right track in learning about nursing. You will do very well since you understand what you need in the classroom and how to study. That is most of the battle in any school setting. The tips to enhance your studies are the following: have a recording device like a tape player so that you can hear lectures after the class is over, become a note taker for a student who needs help taking notes and that way the material can be reinforced into your brain, and be involved into the nursing buddy system where student nurses are teamed up with other student nurses and you can share ideas with other student nurses. I wish you the best of luck. It sounds like you are on the right track. Keep it up and everything will go fine. Marcella 5/20/16
