For those currently enrolled in BScN nursing.
What school?
How do you like your program?
Is it what you expected nursing to be or different?

I go to University of Western Ontario for nursing. Just don't come to our program, our program is terrible, it has lack of clinical hours but a lot of unnecessary courses (for example, we have a course named global health that teaches you why you should care toiletting in India as a nurse) that tried to make us overwork and drop out. This nursing program do not teach you the stuffs you need to know for NCLEX exam. For example, they are making us to self-learn materiality health and ped on our own online (as a online course) while we pay a lot of tuition to the program. It is just ridiculous. The bottom line is just go to other nursing school, anywhere not western nursing school
From Class of 2017, a BScN nursing student at Western.

Oh wow yeah I was reading an article saying the universities should be getting students ready for the neclex and instead have uselse's classes. Sorry you had a bad time with your nursing school ! I am going to St.Clair college U of Windsor collaborative program.

Sorry I have a hard time using this site on my cell phone for some reason..
Good for you. I heard Windsor offered a lot of clinical hours. Good luck with your program!

I'm doing the Laurentian U program. Do the English one since they are teaching you to become the nurse. The French one has so much work and a lot of essays to write. You will be diagnosed with depression in the 2nd-3rd year. Here is how my program looks like :)
