Well Hello everyone!

I found this website today by mistake but it looks pretty awesome and full of info and im looking forward to being able to use all of your assistence in the future. tee hee. Just wanted to say hello to everyone and ask my first of many questions. Ive heard before that canadian nurses are wanted by the states and that there is great money to be made across the border. Does anyone out there have any stories for me about the pros and cons of going south to work? Thanks a bunch in advance, Amanda

hey there, i have heard the same thing as well. the thing is though that a person would need to do a lot of research, and it would depend on what part of the states you are planning to go to. i have heard though that doing travel nursing is where you can make more money if thats all your interested in.

what part of canada are you in .... i'm from mb

Hello, Im from Ontario...

Ya travel nursing sounds great and all but i have a feeling it would be very difficult to have a family and travel for my job. I guess I would just have to wait longer to start that, not that it matters i suppose, Ill be done school when im 21 so i guess i could wait a while. Are there long contracts that one must sign to become a travel nurse or are they short?
