Curing candida overgrowth as a Family NP

I am from mesa, arizona and have seen that people have been told that they have allergies, particularly people I know in my family and friends. I have noticed that there is a confusion between candida overgrowth and allergies or a viral infection. I want to know if it is possible to test for candida overgrowth in a family medicine office? If I see someone with allergies that are severe, should I send them to an allergist/immunologist to determine any allergic reactions to airborne particles? (I am not even in nursing school yet) I know that there has to be a reason for so much infection in the people that I see everyday. I notice that they have redness in one or both of their eyes. I have been to a doctor and they told me to take oregano oil. What I know is that naturapaths diagnose this condition and MDs don't because it has not been proven in the Medical field. From what the general public knows and what doctors are concerned is that yeast infections are usually found in the urinary tract as well as in the lady parts in females. My concern is that others won't diagnose this and will continue to infect others. Could this be a new strain?

You are not in nursing school, but you are diagnosing medical situations.

No matter - we cannot give this kind of advice on this board.

Best wishes.

Say, I can't figure out how to send you an email or a PM yet, but I'm from Mesa too! I'd like to chat about it if you have time sometime.
