Cuny Hunter generic Fall 2011

i was just reading the accelerated thread and someone said that they'd extended the date to mid-may..i guess we wont be hearing from them soon

I just posted a few hrs ago trying to find out if anyone got notice. Nothing yet. I'm losing it over here.

I read the posts on the thread for accelerated students and apparently some people got emails for interviews just recently!! So I was wondering if anyone in generic got anything yet...

I was under the impression that the interviews were only for the accelerated programs? was i wrong? o.O

They are definitely holding interviews for the generic program. Just received a response from someone who said she received an email yesterday (Friday). She is scheduled to go in on Tue.

Miss Shafe, what classes are you currently taking?

I wonder if they're really going to interview everyone who made the list..? Hope they will be sending out more emails >

I'm currently taking the last two courses Microbio and A&P II, as well as Am. Govt class for the general requirements...you?

I applied for the generic program too. I hope they don't postpone another week. I'm going crazy waiting! I also though that they were only interviewing accelerated. I didn't get an email for an appointment. Do you think they are interviewing everyone they are considering or only those who are on the cusp of the cut off for admissions?? I'm so nervous!

this was posted on the accelerated programs wall(p. 10) yesterday by the dean,

"dear applicants,

for the accelerated program, the 50 applicants with the highest composite score are being interviewed in a group format; for the generic program, candidates from the rank of 80 through 120 are being interviewed. the questions are not the same as last year, but will center on life experience and academic history. interviews are being held monday through thursday of this week, and emails with decisions will be sent on friday and monday. there have been no delays in the admission process. when information came in from nursing cas, interviews were scheduled. good luck to all."

the waiting is killing me:uhoh3:, but at least the wait is almost over, as long as this post is true. i hope this helps with some of the confusion.
