Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!

"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."

Has anyone taken Micro in the summer? Thoughts, advice?

I took it this summer! I think that it really depends on the professor. So, do your research and ask around at your school as to who your fellow students recommend to take it with. It's definitely doable. I was really worried about it beforehand because I thought it was going to be a lot to jam into a summer. It's no where near as complex as AP (which I would NEVER recommend in the summer)

I took micro during summer 2016 at NCC. I found it pretty difficult, just so much to cram into 5 weeks. Our professor was fairly tough too. Half my class dropped by the end of the month. The only reason is I recommend doing micro separate from nursing classes, because the nursing courses are going to suck up enough of your time as it is.

Hello, is anyone applying between Nov 1st and Feb 1st for the nursing program at Three Rivers in Norwich?

Is capital community college a day time nursing program only? Also does anyone know if there rivers is day too? Just curious. Thank u!

Opinions on capital vs. Three rivers? I'm torn which one I should apply to. Both are 30 minutes from my house. Are they both day programs? What is your deciding factor when choosing??

Capital is a day school. our lecture days a are mondays and fridays 9am to 12pm.

skills lab are tuesdays and wednesdays 8am to 3:30pm (first 8 weeks)

clinicals are either days or evenings 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm

you have a choice for weekend clinicals too. good luck

Can you choose day clinical or whatever they assign you, that's what your stuck with?

you can tell the course the course leader your preference but you should have a tangible reason. i asked for an evening clinical because i take the bus and it was accepted

Hi guys! I am applying to the community college lpn to rn bridge this November. I am just curious if anyone out there aplied or got accepted that wasn't taking classes at that time @ the college? Also, I'm on the fence as to which college I should make my #1 choice, Gateway or capital?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have previously taken classes at Gateway but I finished all of my pre-reqs so I didn't need any other classes this semester.
