Yes, I actually stopped by the office and asked today, that's what they said. That it should not be a problem as faculty will still be in. As long as it doesn't get worse I suppose.

Does anybody know how the current school closure will affect those who are doing A&P II? Will they be allowed to finish up the class online?? Or will they push back the semester to make up for loss time. I have to take Micro this Summer and I'm worried that I won't be able to because the Summer term may be canceled.

Hey there! I'm taking A&P 2 on Saturdays and my professor said as of now we are supposed to return April 18th but they're also talking about the possibility of finishing the semester online. I havent heard anything on it being extended til Summer. I'm also going to take micro this Summer so we are in the same boat ? hopefully all will continue on current schedule with no changes ?

I hope so too.. I dont want to take micro in the fall if I get into Nursing school.

Just got an email that all colleges and universities in CT will be online for the rest of the semester. For those of us currently enrolled in science courses, I hope they don't force us to withdraw because of the lab portion. Anyone know anything about that? I'm currently in A&P 2 ?

I just got that too! I'm sure they'll amend the by end of Spring requirement if we can't do it online, I'm just concerned we get all the knowledge we need for our nursing programs. And will they even start as normal? Weird times.

Yeah it's all up in the air right now. Very nerve wracking!! I feel like it'd be fair that if completion of A&P 2 still stands as a requirement prior to starting the NP then they should push the program to start in the Spring. Better than having to wait a whole year if we were on the list to get accepted ?‍♀️?that's if it anatomy and phys is one of those they decide cant be fully moved online.

That's exactly what I was thinking! If that were to work maybe we would be forced to do semester 2 in the Summer to get back on track. We need more info!!

Exactly!! Hopefully well just be able to finish now but if not I hope they figure something out! It's like waiting on pins and needles now ?

My A&P professor just emailed us that she's been working on lecture recordings and they're trying to figure out how tests will be sent out so that's a positive sign things will flow as normal and we'll hopefully finish in May ?

I am currently taking my A&P II class at SCSU. In my class my professor uses Mastering A&P for homework and quizzes. She said that for lab exams it will now be through Mastering. As for the lecture portion everything will be through Blackboard. For Microbiology our lecture is online, but for lab our professor was hoping that we could watch a video on the experiment and write a paper about it. Hopefully everything for everyone works out in this hectic situation ?
