CSUSM ABSN Summer 2022

I have not yet seen a thread started for the Summer 2022 cohort at CSUSM in Temecula. It’s been nice to see previous groups chat and support each other! My application was fully completed last week.

Hey! I am also looking for a place to live. I asked in the facebook group and people suggested looking in Temecula or Murrieta. It's pretty pricey for a 1 bedroom apartment, so I am hoping to find a 2 or 3 bedroom place to rent with people. The Summer semester is online, so I'm not planning to move down there until August.

I checked out the Summer courses online, and same as you, I already took nutrition. Most of the courses I saw for the Anthro and Bioethics course we have to complete are online, maybe all of them.

Hi, I just accepted the offer to the Summer term, I'm so excited! For those that recently accepted, do we now just wait for an email for further instructions?

Congrats to those that have been accepted into ABSN 42. I'm in ABSN 40 heading into my 3rd term this Summer. Our cohort and cohort 41 both had online only for the 1st term. Not sure if that will remain the case now that COVID cases are low. You'll get an email from the school with next steps, usually comes after the 2 week interval for accepting the offer. Check on the CSUSM SNA (instagram and website) for info on connecting with other cohorts.

For those not living in the area yet I'd recommend being closer to the main campus because many of your courses or clinic sites will still end up around there. Our group uses Slack to communicate and its been a great tool. Good luck all.
