I have not yet seen a thread started for the Summer 2022 cohort at CSUSM in Temecula. It’s been nice to see previous groups chat and support each other! My application was fully completed last week.

Hi Duncanda, I submitted my app on 12/7. Got an email today (12/10) to set up myCSUSM. I sent all my transcripts a month ago, yet it reads as "incomplete" on myCSUSM (I'm sure they're still processing documents). All my best, Sethman
Sethman - I ended up calling them about two weeks after all my transcripts were sent in because they had not all been processed yet. One or two were kind of lost in their system and had to be found - so if you wait a bit and they still aren’t processed just give them a ring to be sure!

Hi! I applied for the CSUSM ABSN program for Summer 2022! I got accepted for Spring, but I want to be at the Temecula campus cause its closer to home. I'm hoping we can hear back soon!

Hi everyone- I applied for the Summer 2022 cohort in Temecula in the end of October 2021, received confirmation that my application was accepted on Nov 17 2021, and received my points worksheet on December 20 2021. Here are my stats - pre req GPA 3.87 - last 60 GPA 3.56 - TEAS 92%. Total points 42 - Hope this is going to be good enough to get accepted! Anxious to hear if anyone knows when they will be notifying students of acceptance into the program and wishing everyone luck ! Michael
Huh, I had mine accepted October 26th and still have not received a point breakdown! I estimated around 42/43 points but I’ll check in with them tomorrow and see what’s up and update when I know my exact stats. From looking at past message chains from here, it looks like early February is when they get back to us and people over 40 were safe for acceptance. But the threshold for stats seem to go higher every year.
Congrats on turning in your application and you should feel great with your points on the scale!
Hi Duncanda, thanks for your response, yes it seems the admissions stats points are higher each semester, so hoping that above 40 is still the “safe zone” for admissions! Do you have a CSUSM account where you can view the “student center” and see if your application is “complete”? I know the feeling of waiting for the points breakdown is nerve wracking, but hopefully you will get the 42/43 you expect! I look forward to hearing from you when you get your points worksheet- thanks for starting this thread so we can all support each other! Kindly, Michael
Yes! I do have an account and it has been marked completed since the end of October. I had to confirm it directly with admissions because my transcripts got lost in their system briefly. I appreciate you trying to help though.
The threads for previous years were way more active with people so I’m hoping more applicants show up here so we can all support each other and settle our nerves. Thanks for joining!

Thanks, Duncanda I sent an email to the extended learning admissions office. I'd sent in my transcripts a month in advance but I can easily imagine them buried in a pile somewhere.

Hi Michael99, I hope that 40 is the safe zone. We'll see! Looking forward to talking with you all in the coming months.

Thanks for making this thread! I applied early December and got my evaluation sheet Jan. 12. I received 47 points overall, haven't heard anything else yet. Hoping for the best for all of us! Does anyone know if CSUSM does interviews for potential candidates?
Also, are any of you applying to other California ABSN programs as well? I've applied to CSULA and SF State for Summer 2022.

Hi sims4nurse, congratulations on your point score! That’s a really great score and I’m pretty sure it will get you in to the program! Thanks for posting your stats, it’s good to know others are receiving their point evaluations- it means that they are getting closer to letting us know if we have been admitted! Hopefully early February we will all find out… I’m curious to know if any others in this forum have received their point evals yet? CSUSM does not do interviews for admission, it is solely based on the point system, unlike other programs. I’m banking on getting in to the Summer program, because I live in Temecula so it will be super convenient! Still hoping more people will find this forum and join, as past cohorts have had significantly more activity on here than this semester. Best of luck to you! Glad we can be here to support each other while we wait to hear from the school!
Kindly,
Michael
