CSUSB Nursing Fall 2011

So, has anyone here applied for the Fall 2011 program at CSUSB? If so, what were your grades and TEAS scores like? It's getting close, the end of next month is when we should expect to hear the news. I was number 69 on CSULB's wait list, so this is my last chance for the Fall. I'm going to try applying to the schools one more time, and if it doesn't work, I'm going to go the community college route. What are your guy's plans?

Congrats! Was that overall gpa or pre req? The teas v? Did you submit 2 letters of rec? Are you bilingual? Did you to an info session?

sorry im just trying to gauge how competitive it is to get in. There's not a lot of info out there

3.8 was my overall, 4.0 prereq and i took teas iv

yes i'm bilingual and submitted 2 letters of recommendation

and you should attend the info session that must be helpful, Good luck!!

I'm trying to get into the csusb program fall 2012 as well! Its nerve wracking :( I hope we all get in!!!!

pending the chem and math which I am taking this fall, my pre req is 4.0

my overall is 3.08 (and rising)

im taking TEAS next week.

I can get 2 letters of rec.

im not bilingual, but maybe I can see what I can do.

and im attending an info session tomorrow for extra point so we will see

I knowww everyone has good stats! I'm losing hope here lol. I'm taking a math and chem class too this fall! Ahh. My prereq is 3.8 as of now, I still have 2 sciences to take :( Where are you taking ur teas test btw? let me know how the info session goes tomorrow! I'm attending one on sept. Are you applying to other schools as well? I'm apply to csula too and msmc. I like csusb because they have 2 application periods for nursing, one for fall and one for winter. Unlike other schools that only accept during the fall. Good luck to you and everyone!

My stats are worse :( im a transfer too. seems like you have a good plan though which is good :) I might do adn too if i dont get into any programs. Or might switch my major to health science then just get into an EL-MSN program. Well, if we dont get in, at least we tried our best. But hopefully a program accepts us lol. Do you know when the csula's nursing app is going to be available? I was looking at the website and the app hasn't been updated yet.

Haha yea we are :) I realllllly hope we get in! I'm only applying to CSULA, CSUSB, and MSMC. and thats it. if i dont get in to any, then im screwed. I might apply to the local community colleges around as well for the adn prog like mt sac, chaffey, rcc and san bernardino valley college.

I don't know, its super competitive. I just applied to csuf the university for spring. If I get accepted then im eligible for their el-bsn program. But that's a big if lol. I didn't even know they had bsn program that wasn't a bridge program. Well we shall see. Your taking chem and math for fall? Which math? That's all im taking this fall then I am done with all prereqs! FINALLY!
