I wanted to create this forum so we could share stats, ask/answer questions, and talk about the admissions process. When I went to the past informational meeting they said the following stats were for the past year admittance:
Average overall GPA: 3.7
Average Pre-Req GPA: 3.53
Average Overall TEAS: 85.5%
300 qualify for application review and 45-50 are accepted
My stats are
Overall GPA: 3.843
Pre-Req GPA: 3.861 (assuming I end Bio 223 with an A which is what I have right now)
HIPAA is for Patient record privacy and blood borne pathogen is telling about prevention measures at a clinic or hospital of blood contact and transfer and droplets. Did they give you the forms?
Has anyone else not received anything? I’m stressed out now since I haven’t gotten an email at all and it seems like everyone got their acceptance emails at the same time. Does anyone know if any rejection emails have been sent out yet? Thanks!
Hey guys On the compliance requirement deadlines it says we need to turn in the “HIPAA Certification” and “Universal precautions & Blood borne pathogens” by July 29th. What are those?

Hi! I will be working throughout school too! I know the program will be harder but I managed to go full time for all of my pre reqs and GE courses and still work 5 days a week. I’ll probably need to cut down a day if necessary but I still plan to work because I live on my own and have bills as well ?
I think being VERY organized and planning your day out is key!
That is amazing that your were able to juggle working full time while taking your prerequisites. May I ask what kind of work you do?

If I remember correctly you have good stats plus you are a local resident. I would reach out to the nursing dept inquiring about your status. Good luck to you and keep us posted.

So the nursing dept. got back to me and said the HIPAA and BBP are going to be completed at orientation!

I haven’t received anything yet either, starting to think that the acceptance ones are already done by now

When was the deadline to accept for you guys who got your acceptance and when is the nursing orientation ?
I emailed them and they said they’re just still in the process of sending conditional acceptances and denials out!
So they have already sent out some denials ? Kinda gives us a little hope . Cause I’m guessing not everyone who got an acceptance is on this forum and what if they don’t accept or got in somewhere better. So hoping and praying we still got a chance
