CSUN ABSN Spring 2019

Wanted to start a thread for everyone applying for the Spring 2019 cohort of the ABSN program at CSUN!

Thank you everyone! I was just curious when they would start notifying us. I just have another question. Anyone knows how the Fafsa things works? I'm confused on whther to put 5th year/other undergrad or Graduate/Professional as the status.

May I ask how many points you applied with for those who have gotten an acceptance letter? I just want to see my chance of getting in if there is a second wave of acceptance. I am applying with a total points of 32. Hopefully, this will give all other applicants an idea of their chances of getting in during the second wave.

Hey, not sure how you calculated your points! If you let us know we can try to figure out our points too. No one has gotten acceptances yet.

I asked today how many applicants applied and they said that they are not allowed to say but that it was extremely competitive uugghhhh :/ Of course we'll November-december here we come

That seems so late? I would think they would have to let us know by the end of November

We'll have to do background checks and medical clearance stuff. I was thinking beginning to middle of November at the latest. Apps were due at the beginning of August, I don't see why it would take over 3 months to select students...especially without interviews and such.

Has anyone actually asked when we would find out?

They said like around middle November to beginning December. I know right it is so lattteee
