CSULB Spring 2022

Published

Hello everyone!

I couldn't find a forum for this year's pre-nursing students that are applying to CSULB so I made one myself! Anyway, I know I'm not the only one who wants to compare scores or see if their scores are competitive, so here it is...

I'll start it off...

GPA (SCIENCE) : 3.7 = 3.7 pts

GPA (GE) : 4.0 = 2 pts

TEAS OVERALL : 87% = 1.74

TEAS READING : 86% = 1.72

TOTAL POINTS = 9.16 pts

Im planning to retake the TEAS for the THIRD TIME and try to get 90%+ on both, and yes, Chemistry messed me up, ifykyk.

Sorry if my english/grammar is trash, its my lowest score on the TEAS ^_^

DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED.. DO NOT LOSE HOPE!! WE ALL GOT THIS ❤️

did anyone else get waitlisted to csulb and get put on the alternate list for son?

Anyone that's a second bacc or transfer, were you guys able to go on the password manager and make your account?

Specializes in none yet.

For future students that will apply to Cal State Long Beach, (just a heads up) I got accepted this Spring 2022 with a 9.48 stats wise.

Does anyone know how long the hours for clinicals are and if you can choose day shift or night shift?

As far as I’ve researched they’re about 6 hours during regular semesters (fall and Spring) and 12 hours during the Summer (if you take the trimester option you do Spring, Summer, fall while the semester option is only Spring, fall)

Thanks! Do you know if it’s during the day or graveyard shift?

From the what I’ve asked current nursing students it’s usually 6am to around 12pm or 6am to 6pm

Nice! Thanks so much!

I declined my spot this week- good luck to people on the waitlist!

I was accepted by the SON however as a transfer student I was offered conditional admission to CSULB and I already sent in my official transcripts. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back from admissions with an official response?

I think the email said it can take up to 3-4 weeks to process transcripts, so we should probably hear back by the end of November/early December

I think if the "Transcripts" are removed off the To-do list in the student center, it means that they've received your transcripts successfully
