CSULB Spring 2022

Published

Hello everyone!

I couldn't find a forum for this year's pre-nursing students that are applying to CSULB so I made one myself! Anyway, I know I'm not the only one who wants to compare scores or see if their scores are competitive, so here it is...

I'll start it off...

GPA (SCIENCE) : 3.7 = 3.7 pts

GPA (GE) : 4.0 = 2 pts

TEAS OVERALL : 87% = 1.74

TEAS READING : 86% = 1.72

TOTAL POINTS = 9.16 pts

Im planning to retake the TEAS for the THIRD TIME and try to get 90%+ on both, and yes, Chemistry messed me up, ifykyk.

Sorry if my english/grammar is trash, its my lowest score on the TEAS ^_^

DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED.. DO NOT LOSE HOPE!! WE ALL GOT THIS ❤️

Does anyone know how much the approximate total cost of the program is?

Are all the applicants on equal ground now or does the nursing program still consider points, TEAS, GPA, etc. How is the process after the interview?

I also got the invitation to the communication exercise! did anyone here sign up for the 9-10:30 am slot?

I believe it is equal? From past forums, it seems that the communication exercise dictates whether you get in, put on the alternate list, or rejected

I've heard that the communication exercise is a pass/fail, and if we pass it's 2 points added on to our point score calculated with the GPA and TEAS. Not sure how accurate it is.

I saw somewhere they they typically invite around 120 people for the communication exercise and around 70 people get into the program! Good odds I guess!!

Hi everyone~

I'm curious, who here is a second bachelor's applicant? And if so, if you received an invitation to the communications exercise?

Thank you!
