Hello everyone,
Hopefully, this forum is found by people that are applying to CSULB for Spring 2021. We can share stats, updates, questions, and any other information related to the nursing program. I hope to talk to you all soon!

It is not on their website anymore! I got it from another thread regarding their point system.
This is how it is scored: (TEAS reading x 0.02) + (TEAS overall x 0.02) + (GE GPA/2) + (Science GPA)

It states on their website that the application is open from Aug 1st- Sept 21st! I have not been able to find the actual link for it though haha
Hey everyone! Also applying for Spring.
Stats:
Science: 4.0
General GPA: 3.46 ? Bad history.
TEAS Reading: 99.7%
TEAS overall: 88.7%
Total points: 9.462
VERY nervous. Does anyone know if they require letters of recommendation? I never really socialized with any professors and am just now realizing (at the end, LOL) that I might have needed to.
Hey @Artemesiac! I think you have a good chance of getting in for Spring! CSULB does not require any letters of recommendation so you'll be just fine haha.
@iBeArsh Thank you! And that's a relief to hear, haha.
So I've been going through the allnurses thread for CSULB Fall 2020 to see who got in, and someone said this:
"Good Luck to you! Just FYI CSULB goes by Pre-Req GPA and Science Pre-Req GPA.... not cumulative GPA like CSULA does... LOL"
Anyone know if that's right?
@Artemesiac I think it goes by prereq GE GPA which is the stats class, oral comm, written comm, and critical thinking classes. So I think just those 4 classes are what they look at to calculate that GPA. The 4 science prereqs is what make up the science GPA. I hope that wasn't confusing LOL.
