CSULB Spring 2018

Published

I just thought i would like to start a thread :) I'm applying for Spring 2018 as a transfer student. Anyone else applying? I'm still trying to finish my science courses. It's so competitive! I just thought it's better to start one, the earlier the better. lol and maybe we can help each other guys.

What is the facebook group name?

CSULB Nursing Spring 2018 Applicants. I hadn't read that online, good to know!

she said we get contacted back for the interview the first two weeks of October? That's upsetting. Spring 2017 was contacted back for an interview around the last week of September.

Check https://web.csulb.edu/colleges/chhs/departments/nursing/studentinfo/documents/NRSGBS01ApplicationSpring2018_000.pdf

It's the csulb nursing application.

On the second page, it says the exercise will be given from 10/4-10/11/17. Why would the school of nursing give a reminder to candidates on the same week?

Just my logic.

The first two weeks of October are when the actual interviews are. They're from October 4th-11th. We should know by the end of this month at the latest

Have any of you gotten an email from Monalisa saying your SON application was submitted?

@anastasdestaro I emailed SON to ask if the received my application and transcripts, just to make sure the received it. Monalisa emailed me back confirming that it was logged into the system.

May I ask how you calculate the score? Where does the 9.225 come from? Thank you and good luck!

Above is how people calculate their points, you just need to substitute TEAS Math for Reading instead :)

Thank you! I think that means I'll have a 9.83 which sounds competitive. I'm going for a 2nd bac. I wonder if they limit the number of those or just go by scores alone? Guess we'll all find out soon. :-)

I'm also applying as 2nd Bac, having graduated from CSULB a few years ago. I was wondering the same thing. If it's a limited amount of application per each category (undergrad, transfer and 2nd bac) or it's just straight up top 70-80 highest points.

Has anyone received an email for the communication exercise? Been a nervous wreck lately :grumpy:
