Is anyone applying? :) I thought I'd start a thread.
In the past when I spoke to Monalisa, she told me if you score 70% or higher on the TEAS (and met the minimum GPA requirements) then you will be bump to the top of the list and will be offered an interview but not a guaranteed admission. Since this year veterans get one additional point I'm not sure if that's still true. However, I heard from friends that if your score is above the cut off mark then it's a guaranteed admission unless you did bad on the interview because your English is limited. The final acceptance list has already formed, they just want to make sure the people on that list with good scores and grades can speak and write fluently.
Hey everyone, i just got the email i sit atSci Gpa 3.73
Ge Gpa 3.5
teas overall 86.0
teas reading 76.2 (i was definitely a victim of the math change 99% =( )
veteran 1pt
(also 2 co-requests complete)
which apparently puts me at 9.7
has anyone heard of applicants getting this email and not getting accepted ? Also I've heard that veterans get accepted easier for whatever reason, if someone could address this that would be great thanks
Well you vets get that extra point. So whatever your score is add one. Still have to pass the communication excercise like everyone else though.

We know that we still have to pass that communication exercise like other applicants. The school doesn't have to offer veterans an additional point but they changed that last semester and I think it's great. Less than 1% of the U.S. population actually pass the physicals and boot camp in order to sign their lives away on the line in order to protect this country. As their current student, I respect that they offer this point to veterans since it's a sign of appreciation and we thank them for doing so. Let's do our best guys.
Anyway, have you guys put any thought of whether you would choose basic or trimester?

Yes I wasn't saying that to be derogatory just answering deanomite's question. I am very pro military and have nothing but respect. Anyhoo, congrats fellas hopefully we all make it. I'm definitely going for trimester or bust. I'm used to taking a crapload of units so it's something I feel I can handle. Taking 20 now after having done 10 in the summer.
Hey everyone,
Congrats on getting the email. Last year i made it onto the waitlist with a 9.07 due to an in progress C from my microbiology class. After the semester was over i earned an A.
However, i didnt receive an email with a :
Science gpa 4.0
Ge gpa 4.0
TEAS reading 83%
TEAS overall 86.7%
Which i believe puts me around a 9.39-9.4
What do you think happened? Im so confused right now.

I would recommend to call both Monalisa and the admission office to inquire about your status.
