  1. Since I called the help desk the rep told me that we can activate the account 24 hrs following the official email from Monalisa and then through the online profile we can accept the offer. So start the countdown!
  2. Congrats to the rest of ladies and guys who are updating this post with great news of acceptance! I still can't believe it, adrenaline in my body is super high and I am still shaky a bit lol and seems it is all surreal in the most positive way, some kind of beautiful dream lol :) So I created the group, here is a link: Log into Facebook | Facebook If it doesn't work for some reason please look it up under: CSULB Nursing Spring 2017. Dang it, I liked your name CSULB BSN Spring 2017 but since I was in euphoria I already named the group lol :)
  3. Me me me! I volunteered to start the FB group and I just checked my status and GOT IN!!!! Yay! Years of studies, prayers and determination paid off! Thanks to the Lord! What should we name it? CSULB Nursing Spring 2017? Let me know. My name is Angelica Amini btw.
  4. Those who are accepted send luck my way too! Praying to get in í ½í¹
  5. My application status is still pending. Congrats to those who are accepted!
  6. bgone, thank you for your time and insights to what is coming and elaborating on all the required paperwork and your experience. Your words of advise are very useful and I appreciate the suggestion to take some classes at cc prior to starting the Spring semester. Have you heard any feedback from the trimester students who already gone through the Summer semester? Summers are freaking me out with condensed material and short time to complete everything. In case of the lottery drawing there is a chance that any of us are candidates for the trimester. Thank you all for keeping this thread alive
  7. I would never want to risk myself in fear of bringing a wrath or anger of admissions committee esp if they are in the middle of making a decision. Maybe a person who has the highest points can venture this lol :) As I am looking at my Crystal Ball I See that we will hear something nice from admissions very soon. í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚ I also see that all members in our current forum will be accepted, lol í ½í¸‚ í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚ í ½í¹í ¾í´“í ½í±í ½í¸í ½í²ª
  8. This probably means that admission committee will look at your overall performance. I like it better as well, because during such a stressfull time an applicant can mess up in one section but can do well in another, so pass/fail evaluation method is great and fair I think.
  9. I hope we will hear something tomorrow, it will be the ninth day, which is the same number of days it took admission committee last year to issue responses. I asked the question after the communication excercise and the response from proctor was that they in fact will issue points and half points for the communication excercise. So go figure...
  10. As few of you suggested I read the thread from the past year's Spring 2016 admission period and found that an acceptance notice was emailed on the ninth day, which means it took them exactly eight calendar days to process everything since the communication excercise. Communication excercise was held on October 7th and results were posted on October 16th.
  11. I can't even eat well; checking my email hourly. It will probably take them few more days to calculate all applicants total points based on the communication excercise results. Brace yourselves...just kidding. Most of us will make it! Amen!
  12. From what I heard during our communication excercise the pool of Spring 2017 applicants has been already narrowed down by a lot, so I assume that most of us will get in. As Tony mentioned it should not take more than one business week for review of our performance during the communication excercise and to email notifications. Guys and gals, remember they have to read all 100+ written summaries and notes on our verbal portion. Once I find out am in I can create a FB page for us. Can't wait! Good luck!!!
  13. Hello everyone, I too received an email from Ms. Monalisa inviting for a Communication excercise. Look forward seeing you there.
  14. Hi Sara, what an awesome news you've got, congratulations! Keeping fingers crossed for myself.
  15. Wow, jayrow, your TEAS score is actually impressive, CSULA is concerned about the National percentile rank to be above 75% on each section. Do not feel saddened or overly worried, and if you think that your scores on certain sections may improve, then retake the whole test. I am not sure who is a fan out there of any kind of testing especially long ones, but nursing school I've heard is full of similar high pressure timed tests that are many times harder than TEAS. You guys with previous degrees in US are lucky that TEAS is the only exam you have to take, I have to re-take my TOEFL now because it is about to expire [emoji31]. Jayrow, your overall stats are good, maybe review your SOP letter (I was told CSULA pay very high attention to it) and TEAS and you should get in to a program you want, be calm and submit all docs early. Good luck!
