CSULB Nursing - Spring 2014

Published

Anyone who apply for CSULB Nursing Spring 2014?

I have not received mine either. Kinda worry also, please let me know if you get any updates. Thanks

Daisy4 I just checked the dove website and in the order summary, it says the status is "in production". I really hope this is not the case because on its website it says that it has be shipped out by Jan 10. If anyone has any info please let us know. Thanks

I called yesterday and they too me they were trying to have them out by the clinical date.

If you ordered yours by the deadline don't worry. You did what you were supposed to do. We have so many other things to worry about lol

Hahahahaha true that #1nrsstudent! I like your attitude, I feel like I have been worrying about everything and not wanting to be lagging behind on things. I will take your advice on this one and let things work itself out. Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys :)

What about ATI? They charged me $524 automatically, but it says that I have no products in my account yet. Will our professor update that for us eventually or does all this work through ATI? It's just weird cause it says that the product was shipped to CA State Long Beach instead of to me?

Did anyone order the extra "Math Content" portion of the ATI on accident thinking that we had to order this in addition to the Semester program ATI? Well I did and now they are not giving me the refund when I called them. Is anyone else in this situation? or have any info on this matter?

I feel that beachboard post was not clear in addressing which to order. Why was the Math Content even there? Any help is appreciated, we have spend so much already and to waste any money on things we dont need is ridiculous.

Ok so I just went to ------------ about the problem and she took care of it for me. Thank God! The ATI people did not want to refund my $58, which is ridiculous since they have already made $524 from us, so greedy! Apparently I was not the only one who purchased the extra math portion.

Good luck everyone! It's a tough program but definitely do able and worth every minute in the end!

Hey guys, I was just looking through your post, I may be able to help. I have been accepted into the fall 2014 trimester cohort. Out of 604 applicants, 70 people got in. The minimum cut score before interviews was 9.3. I have a 9.44, they add 2 points if you did well on your interview. If you have any questions, let me know!

Is it true that spring 2014 didn't have interview ? If yes , does anyone know why ? Thanks

Hello~

I am about to start the nursing program at CSULB this fall, and I wanted to ask those of you who are in the program a question! I'm debating whether or not I should take pathophysiology and/or pharmacology this summer before the program because I found an availability at an approved school and just think it would make my 1st semester more "easier." However, I realized that money-wise, I would actually be spending more taking it at a CC during the summer because tuition at CSULB is the same once it's past 7 units. What do you guys think?

For those who did, how difficult was it taking both those courses together with clinicals and all that? Would you recommend taking them before the program begins even though I will be paying slightly more?

Thanks in advance!!
