CSULB Nursing, Spring 2024, BSN

Hey everyone! Just wanted to start a new thread for us Spring 2024 applicants. Im making this pretty early but would be nice to have others looking to apply to CSULB.

You fall under the traditional BSN program as do pre-nursing undergraduates and transfer students. You undergo the same selection process as the others that take the traditional BSN route. That means you have to be invited to the communications exercise in order to be considered for the program. It is the final step in the application process.  Only those that have been invited to the communications exercise will actually be considered for admission into the program.

Do we know if it HAS to be a word document that we take notes on?? Can we use Google docs? Also, should I be making my notes super organized or is it my answers to the questions that really matters.

Second bachelors here! I received an invitation today for the exercise on Wednesday. However, mine was a special case due to an oversight on Admission's end on my application. Due to my unique circumstance, I'm not sure if there is a separate date/pool for second bachelor applicants specifically. Hope you hear back soon!

Hopefully that got fixed. Had a meeting through zoom once and they forgot to take me out of the waiting room...I waited for 45 minutes.

I hope so because that's what I'm using. Someone else on here said that we just email our response to them so I don't think it matters

Kind of feel like my interview went bad because of the amount of lagging that occurred. Kicked me out during the short essay and only had 7 minutes to write something down. ? #mostlikelyrejected 

I hope everyone did great though ?
