I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters! :eek:

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Thanks! I am actually turning in my app tomorrow. I will finally have all my transcripts I need by the end of the day. Did you guys wait to send your TEAS scores or did you make sure they received your app before you sent your scores. I want to just do it all at once (I am mailling my app cause I live to far from LB). But I have a feeling that if I send my scores and they dont have my app in hand that they will toss the scores anyway, and that would be a waste of $$ that I do not have plenty of!

I sent my TEAS score the day I brought my app in. If CSULB never received your TEAS scores they might contact you by the end of the application cycle.

Oh I haven't mailed my app yet. I just got 1/2 of my transcripts yesterday and I'm getting the other 1/2 today. Then all I got to do is print the app, fill it out, put my transcripts in and send it. Should I send my teas scores the day that I mail the app? I don't want them to throw our the scores because the app is in the mail. Ya know?

Just track it and once it's delivered send in your teas scores :)

I just noticed that they are allowing 2nd bachelors people to apply to the same undergrad program we are! That is totally unfair! I mean I know life isnt fair and all but I mean come on! They have their EL-MSN program to apply to. So basically they have double the shots of getting into a nursing program at CSULB because they can apply to both. Wow, now I definitely know I am screwed! I still think that is pretty messed up but whatever. I will apply anyway, but I know I am "ineligible" so Good luck to you guys! I bet you guys get in! You will make awesome nurses!

[color=#333333]what you read won't come into affect until spring 2013 and it's for nurses with an adn and a bs/ba degree. it doesn't apply to us.

Read BSN fall 2012 brochure. Scroll to bottom second to last paragraph before foreign applicants. Does anyone besides me think that's unfair to us who haven't gotten an undergrad degree yet? And now these people who have had their college share get to compete into programs while the rest of us only get to apply to one? They did their time. Its our turn! With the rudeness and changing rules and now this, I'm not too happy with this program.

If thats the case its a possibility I am going to end up going somewhere else. That probably bumps up the number of applicants by a couple hundred with a lot more competitiveness.
