Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has permission to enroll in summer 2012 nursing classes at csulb? For some reason when I tried (I was just curious), I was able to enroll into any of the nursing classes. Is this supposed to happen?

Yes, that's definitely great, Dr. Choco! Congrats once again! I'm not taking away from that great news. Hopefully, you get into the nursing program as well! :D

Hopefully, we all get into the nursing program! ;)

Try to get some sleep, guys. Big news tomorrow! :smokin:

@Judy- That's weird. You're definitely not suppose to be able to though.

Are you a continuting student or transfer student?

In my case, I couldn't access to enroll in summer 2012 in any classes.

It could be because I am graduating next month, or it could be because I was not accepted.

Am I the only person checking my e-mail every 5 minutes??!?:uhoh3:

You are not only one. If they had made decision last week, you should be able to call the nusing deparment to ask about your status. She would tell you. I am just too scared to call her. I think if they send email, probably in the afternoon.

Well, bad news people. Just spoke with the nursing department and was told decisions won't be out for another few weeks (it could be up to 3 weeks but even that isn't guaranteed). Budget cuts have severely affected decisions and "it will affect a lot of people," especially transfer students. I tried asking more question but was quickly cut off and told to have a good day. Apparently we can find more information under "Enrollment" on the CSULB website but I haven't found anything that pertains to us. Great...

***%^&*$%^?!??!?!?!

ughhh... are you serious??.. this is ridiculous. Why is it taking so long??. I'm tired of waiting. I give up...

wow. Based on the pop. in this forum my guess is that most of the students who got interviews were either CC transfers or 2nd bachelor's students (i'm assuming they count as transfers as well), that means that most of the top 90 won't even get accepted! I remember current students at the interview telling us that we should be really proud of ourselves because the cutoff score was really high this semesters. Now i'm guessing it's gonna be in the 8.? range.

But i guess you csulb students should be celebrating, cus this totally ups your chances.

lol. I kind of gave up the moment i didn't get an interview along with everyone else. Maybe they should have waited until after the budget meetings to call in interviewees. From the looks of it they probably are going to have to do another interview session with ppl who didn't initially get called in. people below the cutoff. people who don't deserve it as much as we do.

Of course we want know until a month from now, this is ridiculous. I'm sure they are well aware of how many students they can accept, we have already been ranked, so either we are in or out. I'm just over it!:banghead:
