Science GPA 4/4

GE GPA 1.875/2

TEAS OVERALL 1.76/2 88%

TEAS MATH 1.92/2 96%

I'm super confused. My points are definitely 9.26 because I have a science class IP. When I called she said I was number 37 so I'm not sure if that is number 37 on the alternate list or regular one (I doubt the alternate list goes so high). I do have a degree already and I am a long beach resident (which she mentioned when I spoke to her). Who knows!

You would definitely be an alternate. She told me they were accepting 80 fall semester. I was given #74 with a score of 9.46-9.47. Cut off was at 9.45 according to the email. Can someone make a list of rank #'s and total points out of 10 so everybody knows if they're on the alternate or admitted ?

jw, did any of you guys receive an acceptance email to CSULB yet? not the nursing program

You have to be accepted into the nursing program to get accepted into CSULB. So you won't get a letter until after the communication exercise. Maybe late March or early April

i received no email so I failed to make it this semester.To those of you who are in the same boat as me, cheer up it is not the end of our journey. Only thing left to do is to keep trying, and good luck to all of you who did make it to the next step

@ang3lwing I wouldn't worry too much. You have to think that at least the top 10 people are likely going to be getting into multiple schools in the area based on their high GPA's and test scores. I'm sure some have CSULB as their first choice, but I doubt it would be all. If you're right on the cusp and the interview/communication exercise goes smoothly, I think you'd have a good chance at being accepted.

Do they send out rejection letters? I want to be certain that I didn't get in before accepting an offer from another school. I just realized that my application may have been denied because my GE GPA was 2.99, just below the 3.0 cut off (because my Stats class is IP). I didn't get an invitation to the communication exercise.

based on what has happened in previous years they do send out rejections. Last year it was via email.
