Hey all! Sad to say this but I emailed the SON notifying them of my withdrawal of acceptance into the traditional BSN program this Fall. I know orientation is next week but hopefully this will bump another alternate up into my spot last minute. Good luck to everyone pursuing their BSN at CSULB this fall and to the alternates still looking to get in! :)

It says in one of the emails that we will receive something on the 31st regarding orientation. I would call first thing on Tuesday to confirm they got your contract though!

Does anyone know if we should bring money to orientation or not? I heard that we buy our uniforms and books at orientation
My friend who's in the program right now says they sell the book bundle at orientation so I would recommend bringing some $$$.

Has anyone decided on Trimester or Semester yet? I'm torn in between the two! I'm having the hardest time deciding lol.

I spoke to Ms. Ward yesterday & she said the bundle is around $600
Hey everyone. Congrats for those who got the interview! This is definitely the most prestigious CSU Nursing program you can attend around here. I am graduating in 12 weeks !!! YAY !!! Hit me up if you have any questions, and I will answer what I can.

:)

Would you suggest buying the textbook bundle at orientation, or do professors generally allow the use of older versions of textbooks?

Are you guys going to print all the pages of the documents? That's like 100+ :o

I'm thinking I'll just print the important stuff and load the rest on an iPad?

For anybody who did their 2-step Tb test. Did any of you complete it using the form found here ("Orange County/Long Beach Consortium for Nursing"): New Student Information and Documentation

I noticed it's different than the form that's included in the orientation packet.

Yeah, I used the former one. I also noticed the orientation packet one is different. I'm hoping they'll take either.

I'm wondering too. I feel like just bringing my tablet. That's a lot to print out and honestly I don't think there's anything to fill out and turn in from the handbooks. Is there?

When do we get our schedules?
