hi HAS ANYONE APPLIED TO GENERIC BSN PROGRAM AT CSULA?
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE AVERAGE GPA THEY LOOK FOR, AND DO PEOPLE WITH HIGHER TEAS TEST SCORE GET IN THEN THOSE HAVING HIGHER GRADES. I APPLIED FOR FALL 2009 AND SHOULD HEAR IN JUNE I SUPPOSE BUT IJUST WAN TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE THEY ACCEPT AS IN THEIR GRADES AND TEST SCORES.
well u can try the dorms i lived in the dorms my sophmore year and i payed about 450 a month for rent, but shared a bedroom and their was four girls in my dorm so it was two bedroom it has a kitchen just like a typical apartmentbtw when is orientation for the fall im just curious because i got accepted to spring
they will mail u packet of information... i dont think i wanna live in the dorms lol... thanks for the input
i hate to bring the bad news, but i am most likely one of those people they are waiting to hear from. i just received my letter in the mail today, and i have to respond by tuesday, and i'm planning on attending.... but stay optimistic because i am sure there are some people that are going to choose other nursing programs they got accepted to!
hi there.. i also got accepted for fall 09 but for the generic progam ... is this tha program u got into?

i wouldnnt know wen the orientation for fall since i was waitlisted and got a call saying if im interested in fall 2009 and i said YES! so i should be expecying something in the mail very soon!!!
thanks
well i currently go to csula
so its quarter system theres fall, winter, and spring and they are all 10 weeks long 11 including finals week
a regular year usually starts sept 20 and end june 12 or around that
to be full time u need to have 12 quarter units and the classes for the first quarter of the nursing program are 2 quarter units 3 quarter units it varies so it would have to add to 12 to be full time i suppose
and yes you might have to take classes in the summer because you have never attended csula before so you have to take the graduation requirements which is taking 3 upper division classes under a certain theme also taking the introduction hhs 301 i guess and if you still have to complete any of your g.e's so in order to make up your going to probably have to take summer school to finish those requirements
the program is three years long
so if you start fall 2009 you will finish june 2012 and graduate in June and then take your Nclex-rn some time in late june or july
hope this helps
