CSULA ABSN/ELMN 2014

Discussion related to the Summer 2014 start of Cal State LA's ABSN/ELMN program.

I got the same email today and my interviewer was -------, so I am assuming it's because --------------- didn't discuss any of that in the interview and the people who interviewed with ------------ probably didn't get the email because ------------- discussed the information during the interview.

Good luck to all of you. As an elm-er heading into my last quarter before graduating I can tell you that if you go all the way through the masters, this program is going to be more work then I can really explain. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started. It's an endless parade of lectures-reading assignments-tests-research papers-presentations-labs-clinicals-ati tests-soaps-care plans-logs-preceptors-study groups, the list goes on and on. They only way to really understand what it's like is to live it. That being said you can work if you want (I did) and you can still have time to goof off (I certainly did). It's not all consuming like some people make it out to be. It's hard, don't get me wrong, but it's hard because it's a large volume of work that has to be done at a very fast pace.

What specialty did you choose

ACNP now AGACNP

Looks like we can no longer use first initials when referencing someone.....LOL. We have been edited all over the place! I guess we can say "her" and "the other her" instead.

The editing is so funny-- I thought we were being sly! Haha

Hope everyone has something fun planned this weekend to make the waiting go by faster!

Hoping to hear for the better, tomorrow!

I REALLY hope it's tomorrow! Going to be a long day!!

The only thing saving me today was planting a ridiculous number of flowers in our front yard. I think I will totally clean my house tomorrow. ANYTHING to keep busy!

... I can't handle the wait anymore. I napped a lot this weekend just so I could stop thinking about it. Hiking helped too. Sigh. lol

So about 30 minutes ago my cell phone rings - from a 323 - Los Angeles number. Totally thought it was it....nope just AT&T confirming our U-Verse installation. Sigh.
