CSUF ABSN Fall 2020

Hello! I wanted to create a thread for those interested in/planning on applying to the CSUF ABSN Fall 2020 cohort. Applications open up in a couple of days! I just wanted to know how everyone is feeling about themselves and create a place where we can talk about the process.

Don't believe there's already a thread created, but if there is, please link the thread haha

I think I have 80. That’s if they include the English courses in the pre req GPA. If it’s only sciences for the pre req GPA, then I have 90 points before the essay.

Just got an email from them. I didn't make the top 100. I didn't think my points were that low but I guess there are that many people with way higher points than I thought. Oh well. On to the next school. Good luck everyone else!

Hi there! I JUST GOT THE EMAIL too.. so, what that means? What is next? When is this online interview? Will we be having two interviews? Online and and in person? What you all think they will be asking?? I am just wondering.. ?

For Fall 2018, they had a campus interview and a group activity. Are they not doing that for this cohort??

It kind of sounds to me like they are just doing video interviews this year, but I don’t know for sure.

Wish there was an in person interview I just did the video one for uc Irvine and it was weird but at least now I have some practice

I can imagine! I am not so good with online things.. I would prefer in person! If you don't ming sharind, what do they asked to you for the UCI?

Hi all! I also received the interview invite email. Congrats to others that also received the email! Excited to be one step further along this process ?

For the essay they mentioned, are we submitting the same exact one we had in the application? Perhaps convert it into a word doc or pdf before submission?
