I am curious to know more about the RN-BSN offered online though CSUDH. Are there any graduates out there or people currently in the program?
I work as a nurse during the weekdays 8-5pm. Is it possible to be a full-time student and still work full-time?
How was the experience of online classes? And were there any classes that required being on campus, or can everything be done online? I live far away from the school, so going to campus isn't an option.
Thanks for any information!!

It's a good idea to contact the programs directly for basic information like this. Peer input (such as from AllNurses) can be focused on the student experience and realities that may not be as evident directly from the school.
I teach in the program - all classes are online except for the Health Assessment Lab (2 days on-campus to learn and demonstrate skills) and the preceptorships for Community Health and Leadership which can be done in your geographical area with a RN preceptor. Most students do work full time and so they take about 6units per semester of coursework. The tricky part will be the clinical courses (2 of them) because public health nurses and managers typically work M-F 8-5p also. You may need to save up some vacation time and work with your employer to be able to accumulate the hours needed for the clinical courses.
