CSUDH Pathophysiology Online MEPN Program Question

Published

Hello,

This post is for those who have already taken the online Patho from CSUDH.

I wanted to get some info on the pathophysiology class for CSUDH that I will be taking during the spring semester. I know the book is 1200 pages long and the class only 10 weeks long. I understand that we will cover all chapters.

As I work full-time and have a part time job as well, I need to plan my studies ahead of time. I was mainly interested in knowing the format for the tests (multiple choice or essay) and how many hours a week you budgeted for the class. How about the final? Is it cumulative, multiple choice/essay format? Anything else that would help me to get prepared?

I also heard that because of the intensity of class, most people drop out. What do you think?

Any guidance would be appreciated. I'll be taking organic chemistry, too, so it will be a tough spring semester.

Thank you very much

How is the class did u take it? I wana take the class pm please

you will work like you have never worked before - I would advise you take no other class besides patho if you work full time like i do. It is pretty brutal. about 100 pages a week of difficult subject. Only good thing is that 52% of grades are quizzes that you can take over and over again until you get it right. There is just so much material to cover that you can pretty much forget about memorizing anything. All you can do is understand the concepts. Ultimately patho is very logical so that will help you decide on correct answers.
