Hello, I'm making this thread for everyone thinking of applying and applying to CSUB's nursing program for the Fall 2014! This is the month for transfers (like me) to submit the CSU Mentor app. The nursing app is already posted on the college's website!
Any nursing hopefuls for fall 2014?
I went to the one in January for spring quarter . It was student advising group session that's where weee told that they are not going to tell the ranks this time we will straight get the notifications.
I went to the one in February and I don't recall such information. Oh well, I guess it's just from here till July.
Welcome! At least you're not waiting anymore..... We still have a lot of waiting to due until July!
At least tentative standings come out in about a month.
Aw man, That sucks =[ If it makes you feel better I got a C in Anatomy and was trying to get into the Anatomy class at CSUB but I didn't get in. So That one C is ruining my chances! I wish you the best of luck with Phys! Sorry you have to deal with that =/

I think you're confusing me with asand14, who wasn't able to get into the Physio class... but I agree, her situation sucks.....
:)
Yes that's right. I just started this semester but ended up just taking an online class since I didn't get into Anatomy and that was really the only class I needed. I didn't want to move over there while just being on a waitlist for one class you know. So yeah, I've visited a couple times though. If I hopefully get into the BSN program, fingers and toes crossed, then I will make the move out there. I see from previous posts that you have to move to CSUB too right? Where are you traveling from, I'm near the LA area.

But you took Anatomy already, correct?
I only went once for the information session but didn't get to look around campus or the area much since I had to come back to LA right away due to work. I pass through there all the time when I go camping to Yosemite/Lake Isabella... It seems like a nice town, overall it looks quiet (appearances may lie though, haha).
Yes, I am from the Los Angeles area so like you, I would have to be moving. :) I'm transferring from SMC.
Yes correct I did take anatomy, but didn't do so well. I mean I passed with a C but I wanted an A since I got A's in Phys and Micro. But it is what it is now. Lol. Oh yeah I went for the info session as well and it was helpful. It is quiet and seems decent...but hopefully we'll get to find out for real! Oh ok cool! I am transferring from Citrus College. Hoping we all get in! Can't wait until July! :)

True, nothing you can do about it now.
Oh, I'm assuming you're from around the West Covina area! Nice.
July seems so far from now, especially when you don't have school to distract you anymore. Do you recall someone in the information session saying that tentative standings won't be sent this quarter? I don't.... Kind of sucks for those who are thinking of moving. Moving in such a short span of time seems intense and tentative standings usually give you an idea of where you are in terms of acceptance/rejection.
Yeah exactly. And I'm actually from the Rancho Cucamonga area :) but yes 20 minute drive to west covina so you were close! And I did not hear that question at the information session I went to and it is a bummer about the No Tentative Standings It would be nice to get some sort of idea especially for those like us that would be making a move. But I guess we'd find out in July and then start school in September right? So maybe it won't be so bad...I hope.

WHAT? What information session did you go to? Did they say why?
