CSUB Nursing Fall 2021

Hi everyone,

I'm opening this forum for those that are applying to the program beginning Fall 2021 My stats:

Prerequisite GPA: 3.72

Math/Science GPA: 3.66

TEAS: 89.3

This is the only university/college I have applied to.

I just checked mine. It doesn't say "rescinded". Call CSUB admissions first thing tomr, and if they do not answer, call throughout the day to get someone on the phone. Also, find their admissions email right now (if you haven't already) and begin drafting your email. Send it now, and follow up with it tomr if they do not answer by noon. This has to be a mistake. I hope it gets fixed soon! I hope all will go well.

Thanks PaintingRain... I have sent an email and I have been extremely stressed out about all these applications because I've already made careless mistakes that made me ineligible for other apps so I've been worried about it ?  I just saw it today and did not think about it even happening because over the past few days I checked my portal too and everything seems OK.. Also considering the email I got confirming they received my intent to enroll and even got my csub school email already.. Really hoping this is a mistake ?

I'm sorry to hear that. Let's see what they say tomr. This is simply admission into the Uni, so I believe if you submitted your CSUB app correctly, you should be fine. Best of luck, my nursing friend!

PS. Hope your UCI app goes well! Lots of admission decision should come out this week! I applied to UCI as another major and got in [b/c I wanted to transfer so badly].

I got waitlisted for UCI Nursing! Hoping I eventually end up with a spot, although I'm hoping to get into CSUB too.. My COC application did not move forward because I simply missed to include COC in the schools attended... I've been pretty bummed since ?  But as always, thank you!!

Wow, I hope you do get the spot eventually past the waitlist! Keep your head high; you'll make it in somewhere! Good luck & no program ?.

hello everyone!

not that an update was necessary, but I contacted admissions and it was my AP score that was not sent officially to the school. I sent it yesterday, though, and was told it will be counted as part of my transfer credit for English 101 once the school receives the scores. It was another error in my place LOL! I hope this is the last trouble I stumble on with nursing school! haha!

So I got my rejection letter today LOL. I was bummed but it was expected. I wish you guys luck though! ?

That’s so early! I thought stuff comes out in June! I didn’t get anything yet. I’ll check my spam.

Has anyone else heard back from the nursing program yet? And on the student portal do you guys also have an Advising Hold and Student financial aid agreement hold?

Haven't heard back yet & yeah, I got both holds.

To get your advising hold removed, you have to meet with your academic advisor. And for the financial aid agreement hold, go to your mycsub home page and click on the hold and complete the agreement to remove the hold.
