Hi, did anyone else apply for the Pre-Licesure BSN program for Stanislaus State? If so, what were your stats? Does anyone know when we will hear word of final decisions?

Alright, thank you ? and I mean Sociology. I haven't taken it yet since another class I took filled in the requirement at another school.
Does anyone know how they break ties?
It's just confusing to me how some people say they have very high points but are the lower number of the waitlist and others have fewer points but are higher up on the waitlist. Can someone please explain how someone with 99 points is #17, then a person with 90 is #18, but a person with 96 gets in, and then 89 points is #8?
@callmepri I think that it’s likely that people don’t know exactly how many points they applied with due to unclarity in which classes factored into GPA points or how many work experience/volunteer points were awarded. Somebody may think they only had 89 points but really had 96. Or someone may have thought they had 99 points but in reality only had 92. Who knows.
I read somewhere that they use TEAS test scores as tie breakers, but don’t know if that’s correct or not.

The overall gpa is your college gpa and not nursing correct? I have a 4.0 gpa for both science and non-science gpa.
Do you mind re-counting it for me? I am only asking because I plan to apply next semester and I really wanted to know approximately how many points you had since you said you were #8. The scoring grid doesn't make sense because I don't think anyone can get a 3.95, which is 24 points, for the science GPA. I say this because if you get one A- in one science class, your science GPA drops to 3.93 assuming you get all A's in the other 3 science classes. Did you get any optional points? Also, what was your TEAS score if you don't mind me asking?
Yes, overall GPA is your entire college GPA.

Go to application statistics for the nursing program at stanislaus. That will give you a pretty good idea of where to place yourself. Hope that helps.

My overall GPA is 3.93. I got all solid A's in the overall science GPA and non-science GPA. I got 81.3% on my TEAS and I would get 3 points for healthcare experience. I did not get points for being enrolled on campus or living in the Stanislaus service region or bilingual. Also, they just called me an hour ago and I got accepted!! They should be on #9 on the alternate list now.

Ah okay. I called them twice today but no one answered the phone. Do you know when corequisites have to be finished by?
