Hi Andrew,
Thanks for starting this thread. I have also applied for the Fall of 2018 nursing program at Stanislaus State. I added up my points and it looks like I have a total of 96. I look forward to following this thread to hear from everyone who applied to CSU Stanislaus for nursing.
All the best,
Melissa
That's great, Melissa!
I've heard Chico also has a great program.
And Stan State is the only BSN program I applied to because in nursing school I'll have to rely on my family for a lot of financial support as I won't be working. I'll also be applying to MJC's ADN program in May if Stan State doesn't work out.
Where do you currently go to school?
Andrew,
It sure is nice to have the support of your family when going through college (especially a nursing program). I am sure you'll get into Stan's program, however it is always smart to have a back-up plan:)
Right now I am currently going to a local community college in the area, which has allowed me to save money and focus on my grades.

I am not applying for fall of 2018, but will be applying for fall of 2019 and your guys' stats are intimidating me lol. I wish you the best of luck and was wondering if you had any advice for filling out the application or any questions that you had while you were applying that you wish you had known before?

Hey, Guys!
Is anyone else out there applying for admission to the pre-licensure program at Stan State for Fall 2018? (Deadline January 15th, 2018)
I went in and submitted mine yesterday... fingers crossed!
My TEAS score is 95.3%, science GPA 4.0, overall GPA 3.48, permanent resident of Stanislaus County, and I have 3 years of clinical experience as a phlebotomist.
What are your guys' stats/hopes/dreams/fears?
Best of luck to everyone,
Andrew
