CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2015

Hello,

I was wondering how many of you have applied to the program.

hhhm I sent mine on Monday so I'm sure we'll be fine then. Maybe I'm just paranoid! lol

I sent mine on Tuesday and haven't heard anything. It did say also postmarked by the 24th so we are all good. So anxious to find out everything. Does anyone know anyone else who has gone through this program? Will it be everyday of the week all day? Can't wait to find out at orientation and to meet everyone!!!

I asked somebody from a previous cohort and they said we class Monday-Friday the first semester, after that it starts to vary because of clinicals.

Hey everyone! I'm very excited to begin the program as well! Does anyone know if there is a Facebook group created already?

I don't think one has been created.

Has anyone received the link to view federal loans and or financial aid on their Csu home page yet?

I haven't seen anything posted about financial aid yet. My CSU page is still pretty much blank. The only change is that there is nothing where it used to say 'pending application'. Is that how everyone else's page looks? I'm so paranoid I'm going to miss something haha

That's how mine looks right now too. I'm nervous to miss something as well. Lol. Can't wait till orientation to have many questions answered. :-)

Mine looks the same too! This might sound silly but orientation is at the Stockton center correct? I'm second guessing myself... nerves lol

Anyone's financial aid page change to show loans and/or awards for this year? Mine still isn't showing. Would love to know if I will be offered any loans to determine if I need to seek private loans right now. Ahhhhh. Orientation is so close yet so far away. L

Hello there! I'm not sure if anyone is actively viewing this thread but I am very interested in applying for this program in 2017 after I finish my science prerequisites at my local junior college (mid-life career change!) :) I was wondering if anyone could give any insight on an average score regarding how many admissions points accepted applicants usually have? Average overall GPA, as well as science only and non-science gpa averages? Most of the information I'm finding regarding acceptance averages is for the standard nursing program and not the ASBSN program, which I believe might be slightly less competitive? ANY insight at all would be so appreciated! :)

Hi there,

I'm currently in Cohort 5. We all had varying scores when it came to the different categories. The scoring is very similar to the traditional program through CSU Stan. There's a form online where you can calculate your points for the ASBSN program. If you're in the 80's range, then definitely apply. Apply in whatever range you are! lol
