Sarah Thanks for figuring this out! I have a test today and I just need to accept that I'm not going to do very well on it... I can't concentrate! And then a paper is due tomorrow, and three finals next week and I still have to pack! *Grumble grumble grumble*

Anyway, I really want to do dinner, but I'm borrowing my cousins car to come up. I may not be in town until closer to 7. I'll keep you posted :)

this question is a little different in terms to school. its regarding financial aid. i am from northern california around the bay area and will obviously have to quit my job to attend school. however, my financial aid will not reflect this since my taxes from 2008 and 2009 will have my numbers from when i was working. how do you let the financial aid people know that your numbers are not valid anymore?

Amy: No worries!!! I finished with school 6 months ago, so im sure if i was facing finals right now I wouldnt be able to bug you guys about what the plan is as much as I have Lucky me... I have all the time in the world to think about all this stuff! Best of luck! Im sure you will do fine! I'll email you my phone number and you can just call me or text me and let me know what time you think you'll be there. Otherwise I'll really have no way of getting in touch. Luckily I'll have my little hotel room to hang out in until everyone gets there! I thiiiiink its just gonna be you, me, jimmy and becca. Could you guys let me know for sure if you are coming Wednesday night?

Im in the same situation with financial aid as you are srtyoacnkton. I dont really know if there is anything we can do. The counselors at extended learning are really knowledgable about financial aid and im sure they could tell you if there is anything you can do. (if you find that there is... please share!! :) )

I'm completely fine with Chilis..what time though? if we need suggestions for lunch the next day...might i suggest souplantation? dunno if there is one near though...(hehe i have buy one get one free coupons..i guess that only works if we have an even number of people eating..)

There's a soup plantation by the mall on Winchester....there's actually a lot of good restaurants in that area

hey everyone!

its orientation week...yay!! so the good news is that i'm flying down to temecula from the bay area wednesday afternoon, so I am definitely down to meet up for dinner! the bad news is that i may not be able to meet up for lunch/house hunting after orientation, although i still am interested in rooming with fellow students! i'm leaning more towards the no pets group, if there is one! i know its going to be interesting living with people we don't know, but we're going to get to know each other really fast since we're all in the same cohort! do you know if the leases are month to month or year leases??

Maybe we should just plan for dinner at 7 at the chilis off Winchester and Ynez so everyone can make it. We can make a CSUSM Nursing sign out of napkins or something since I have no idea what people look like

Are you all bringing lists of places you want to go see in terms of apartments or houses or were some of you planning to just drive around? I have about 5 on my list. 3 houses and 2 apartments. This is gonna take some coordination once we all meet up! Im excited tho :)

Im sure the dog people are gonna want to look at houses just so they have a backyard, and i'd personally prefer a house, but if anyone is cool with doin the apartment thing with a kitty cat, im super flexible!

7 is good with me, it might be better actually cause i have no idea what traffic is going to be like...i can go either way in regards to pets, whatever works better...i don't have a pet to bring with, but i have one at home at my parents, he got neutered today so it's a lil depressing to see him not upbeat like he normally is..poor lil guy

7 at chili's works for me! we'll need some kind of sign or something or let the host know that we're meeting a group there so she can show us where were all sitting since we dont know what anyone looks like!

and I'll be down there friday too if anyone wants to look at places friday morning. I just can't go after the orientation because i have to go pick my boyfriend up at the airport at around 1 since he's coming to check out the area and see if he might move down there eventually. SO let me know if you want to meet Friday! I've been looking up apartments and they look really nice for around 500/person. This is so much cheaper than when I went to Cal Poly. The cost of rent there was ridiculous!

I too have been accepted to the ABSN in temecula! congrats to all of you.. I think there is a total of 54 of us. I noticed that many of you are looking for a place to live while in this program I too am looking I am living in PB right now and its a LOOONG commute for me so I would like to move closer.
