I thought I was going to enter for the fall 2013 cohort (Temecula) but looks like it filled up before they ever evaluated my final set of transcripts. However, its good to know we all get at least 1-3 chances to find out. I figured we can all join in on how we are looking forward to being accepted for the spring 2014 cohort (San Marcos).
@jennile.07: Thanks for the kind words! I do still have a glimmer of hope that someone who got in will choose another school! I did not receive an initial evaluation, but they didn't receive all of my paperwork until about a week ago, so that's a tight timeline. How long after turning your stuff in did you get the evaluation?
I got the evaluation around the same time I received the "conditional admission" email. So it took about 4-5 weeks to process everything. But in previous forums, some students waited a long time so I guess it varies. Good luck with your application!!

Just kidding... I realized that you have already been accepted. Congrats!!! could you tell me how the application process was like for you or if you know anything about how competitive the program is?
Haha, thanks! Study hard for the TEAS exam -- the study manual does help (at least for me). The application process was very easy. I do recommend that you mail all of your documents together so that they can process everything at the same time. And I think it's better to have all of your prereqs completed as well. The worst part is the waiting.. I'm not sure how competitive the program is, but by looking at the requirements and recent statistics, I would say it's not super competitive compared to other nursing schools, such as Samuel Merritt's ABSN. Good luck with your application!!

I think it's different for everyone based on the time that they were admitted, but the deadline to submit my intent to enroll was September 8th. Have you heard from the school yet?
I made the decision to withdraw from nursing school today after weeks and weeks of contemplation. I hope one of you guys get an e-mail that you have gotten in for the program. :) I know that you guys want it as much as anyone else on here does. Best of luck to all of you.

Congrats to you and I am excited to meet you :) I am Michelle - from Folsom, 30 min outside of Sacramento. I am getting so excited, I cant wait!!!! Im looking forward to orientation too. My mom and I will be driving down a couple days before the orientation in order to look for places for me to live. I dont know much about the san diego area at all - but I know I want to get my own place and live close to the beach :) haha hopefully thats not too much that Im hoping for!!! :) If you want to add me on Facebook - Michelle Jennings. Hey future RNs...Orientation is coming up quick!!…I was wondering if anyone else is looking for apts/roomies near the school or even near sd. I am from orange county and am familiar with the sd county..I kinda want to live near sd or the beach areas...especially since there are going to be clinicals down in that area..if anyone else is interested maybe we can talk more about it at orientation?
I'll be in nyc from dec17-jan7…so I am trying to figure out the living situation before that or even right when I get back. Let me know if you're in the same boat :)
