Hi, I am hoping to hear from fellow pre-nursing students who have applied to CSU East Bay's nursing program. Do you feel confident you will earn a seat in the nursing program? A reply would be greatly appreciated.
I have received provisional acceptance to the University through email and mail pending this semester's transcripts which are due in July. I also keep getting info in the mail about final admission steps, orientation days, financial stuff, ect. Have you checked your "mycsueb" account? I have talked to admissions a few times to make sure all of my documentation is in and they said everything looks good so far. Maybe you should call addmissions because they don't always update the account. I think they are short staffed. Hopefully all of your transcripts have found their way to the school. Has anyone else experienced the same thing as me?
That's weird that you havn't heard anything yet shoriyuken. I also got that folder with the acceptance letter within a month of applying, probably in December. That was before they even had any of my transcripts. I'm sure admissions can help figure out the problem. They are also very helpful. Good luck. Let us know what you find out.

You can search the classes for last fall, winter, spring to get a better idea of the class times. It's probably the same every year or close to it. This thing is also pretty helpful because it shows all of the classes you are eventually going to take.
Thanks for the reply everyone. So far, I've only gotten some financial aid offer letters but no formal acceptance letter. My forms are complete and the intent to register section indicates that my application is in process. That would be a huge FAIL to get a formal acceptance from the Nursing program but rejected by the school lol. I'll just hope for the best. Anyone is the same boat as I am?

Thank you so much JennaFezz, that was extremely helpful. I understand better what kind of hours I will be there and know that it does change. I talked to the nursing staff at the Concord campus this week and she told me that those who requested Concord will most likely get it because Hayward fills up faster. Also that they assigned campus preference on a fist come first serve basis. I am so amazed how nice and helpful the staff has been so far. I can't wait to meet you all at the orientation. It sounds like we are in for a challenging but fun ride.:)
