Anyone applied to the nursing program for this fall?

Me too!! It was so exciting! Have denial letters been sent out as well? Now I have to start working on my packet!

lol I'm really excited too! I'm not sure how they work the denial letters. I'm thinking that they go out the same time as the acceptance letters do so as to not keep people in suspense. I'm getting my packet done asap! lol I already bought most of the books required, but then I got a book voucher for the book store so I don't have to pay for my books! Now I just have to get rid of the ones I have. Luckily I got great deals on them so I'm not going to lose any money (like $44 bucks for psychiatric mental health nursing new in shrink wrap!) My husband was deployed at the time so I had nothing better to do but stalk ebay! lol:yeah:

I live in fort benning...you live here too?

I start the pathophysiology class weds.

Yep! I live on Rainbow Ave. on post. We decided to move on post since I brought my horse along and the stables are next to the housing. I wanted to take the pathophysiology class but I have to take A&PII.

Congratulations!!!! Where are you taking pathophysiology? I We just took that on our second semester.

I am taking at csu online. It lasts for 10 weeks and starts weds...any tips?? :)

Well, memorizing signs and symptoms for each disease is going to the best strategy.

Are you taking a&p at CVCC? My friend is taking it there this summer. I am nervous about my class starting tomorrow. I have to stop my nervousness though! I think a trip to the pool is in order!!

Have you gotten all of your books or just some of them? And Flyfarfaraway, if you are reading this, how many of those non-required but recommended books do we really need?

I posted this in the other message but wasn't sure you would see it...they sent us a booklist of required and not required books. Can you recommend which non-required books I should really buy?

I wouldn't buy any of the non required books just yet. The nclex review won't be helpful until your second semester.

I guess I am confused...why are you getting rid of ones that you have already bought? I think I may have missed something.
