CSU Channel Islands Goleta Program Spring 2020

Hi guys I wanted to start a conversation for the Spring 2020 CSUCI Goleta Program applicants. It'd be awesome to hear everyone's stats and any updates anyone has received. Good luck to you all!

Mine now says reviewed! I hope we find out soon. I ended up applying with 34 points not 33 so I feel a little better but definitely super anxious still

Congrats!! I’m still under review! When did those who applications been reviewed turn in your applications?

Mine says reviewed too now! I went from 34 points to 36. I had two classes that I wasn’t sure which satisfied the writing requirement so submitted both- one was a B and the other was an A. I’m guessing they took the A one and my prerequisite gpa went up to the next point level! I’m excited that things are finally moving along but I’m still so nervous.

I submitted my application pretty early. Online one by 8/28 and supplemental by 8/30.

My Channel Islands records still says incomplete with the yellow triangle though ? Anyone else?

My points still say "estimated." Is that the same as yours?

I was expecting some extra points for living in the geographic area.

Hi Munchkin,

Mine also says "incomplete" with the yellow triangle (on the myci.csuci.edu site). I was told that CSUCI won't process the application until the Goleta program is finished reviewing (accept or deny) an applicant's file. My guess is they want to avoid any mix up between acceptance into the university and acceptance into the program- maybe the status will change after an applicant is able to accept or decline entrance.

Yes, my points still say estimated even though my application now states its been reviewed. I don’t know if we’ll ever get the final evaluation of scores... Hope you get those points for being a resident!

I would try emailing them about your points! I just emailed them as well because I noticed some changes with my points. Best of luck!! I hope we all get answers soon.

How did you know your points changed? Are you seeing it under the "estimated total points" section?

Yes under estimated total points section.
is anyone’s application still under review?
I am guessing it is any day now. They usually send out emails around 1-2pm from past threads.
